This weekend has been pretty gloomy, but when I saw this yellow pencil skirt it perked me right up. It's not what I would call affordable at $220, but if you can swing it this piece would instantly brighten up your work wardrobe (with heels) and its cute enough for running around on the weekends with flats or wedges, so you could get a lot of mileage out of it. And I tend to make decisions on a "price per wear" basis. If I absolutely love something and I know that I can get a lot of use from a piece, I can sometimes rationalize spending the extra scratch.
