I rarely find myself coveting Tory Burch apparel, but this chain print dress is the exception. I feel like I could buy this today and wear it in ten years and still love it! The colors are great and I like the smocked waistline.

I wish I could afford this dress. So here's another one of my fantasy posts where money isn't part of the equation. I am a huge fan of asymmetrical anything and this dress is no exception. Plus its yellow with fluttering sleeve and the length is perfect.
I am seriously considering getting this dress as an early birthday present for myself. Although I was hoping to hit the outlets near my home to do a little bday shopping. But this dress is proving hard to resist. I love the color, the woven detail, and the cinched waist. If the vermillion color is too much for you, they carry it in black too.

The draping on this Mint Fading Ruffle Tank is perfect. I really adore the ruffle detail on the back, which is why I included the back view in lieu of the front (sorry). They only have small and mediums left, but those sizes are on sale for $192.50. Granted that's not a drop in the hat, but its not your ordinary tank top. For an extra 15% off, be sure to use this code at checkout (24HOUR).
I love strapless sundresses. They have a carefree vibe about them that I love. But I, unfortunately, have to be very selective when it comes to strapless looks. Unless they are sweetheart necklines they are a disaster on me. And in spite of this tidbit I have ignored my instincts and tried them only to be terribly disappointed. So, this fantastic smocked colorblock dress is for you ladies who can do the strapless look. I will admire you from the sidelines on this one.
Diane von Furstenberg has become synonymous with timeless feminine styles and this cobalt and gray Kiamo wrap dress is no exception in my mind. I adore the color combination and the cap sleeves. Its the perfect length for flat sandals on your personal time or heels for work.

I am a big Michael Kors fan (speaking of which have you heard all of the Project Runway drama? I hope when the show makes the jump to Lifetime its still great) and these wedges are delightful. There have been tons of uber creative heels and wedges this season, but the cut outs on this pair are just dramatic enough for my taste. The green is perfect to add a punch of color to black and blue ensembles and you can totally rock these with your florals too. LOVE THEM!
This Yalena Dress is the perfect dress for cocktails. Its elegant and colorful. Not only is it on sale at Shop Bop for $97.80 (regularly $326), but you can use the Style Stimulus code for an extra 25% off (EXTRA25). What a steal!
Here's another summer standard, white jeans (although I will argue that you can wear them outside the summer, but I have some friends' whose opinions I greatly respect who will disagree). They look fantastic on this model, but hopefully they also work for gals who aren't leggy and slender, although the inseam is only 33.5, which is a little shy of what I typically look for in my jeans. Get your Rich & Skinny on for $156.
One of my go-to outfits during the summer (when I am not at work) is jeans, sandals, and a camisole. Its not mind-blowing, but it normally works for me and doesn't result in me throwing myself on my bed screaming "I hate my clothes!" (Am I the only one this happens to? When I can't find something to wear I either blame my closet or my weight, which is so NOT productive.) Anyhow, this Calvin Klein camisole is delightful. I prefer the peridot option (shown), but they offer it in an evening haze color as well (blueish).

I really like the look of these long dresses, but I really need to hit a few stores and try a couple of different styles on because although they always look so fresh and chic on others, I worry that would be a disaster on me. This version at Banana Republic looks like a keeper though. Tons of design considerations that are typically flattering like the sweetheart neckline and empire waist. And the skirt is pretty basic (no layers or ruffles), so it shouldn't add even more mass to a gal's silhouette.
Happy Cinco de Mayo! I am on the hunt for a shoe for a very particular dress and along the way I found these woven wedges at Steve Madden that I really like (and might work for my need), but they are a little pricey at $129.95 for such specific purpose.
