Nuts for Fall Knits

I am so excited about the abundance of cozy, chunky sweaters for the fall. In my opinion, if you are can only manage to add a piece or two to your fall rotation, consider one of the following options...they are fashion-forward (if that's important to you) and will keep you cozy and warm. I tried to post both casual options and versions that will get you through the work week.

Fall into the Gap

I tend to be a bit of a fickle shopper in that I can get pretty excited a ton of items from a particular designer or store and then the next season not like a thing. The Gap is proving to be one that I am super excited about this fall. I think Patrick Robinson has really add some edge and fun to the classics you expect from the Gap. Because to be honest, its been a while since I haven't thought the Gap was a bit too dull for my taste. Here are a few of my faves that I have seen:

Asos Tape Yarn Twist Strap Vest

I really like this twisted straps on this sweater at Asos and I am a big fan the wider band along the bottom. Perfect to wear solo or layer.

Short Sleeved Black Cardigan

I have been feverishly searching for an all-around black cardigan for the spring and I stumbled upon this piece at Macy's and it just happens to be on sale. Goody for me! All sizes are still available and its only $24.50. I particularly like the fluid and open bottom half of this sweater. Its a perfect topper for me.

CeCe Ruffle Sweater

I know its a kinda sweet looking, but I really like this ruffled sweater. I really like the length of the sleeves and did I mention the ruffle. Now you could definitely argue that you can get a similarly-styled sweater from the new Target line for less than $58.00, but I would argue that the light yellow and pink are more spring-like color options.

Gathered V-Neck Sweater

Forever 21's inventory tends to empty pretty quickly, so if you really like this sweater, I would recommend grabbing it immediately, especially if you are looking to add a few basic v-neck sweaters to your spring wardrobe. I think the the gathered sleeves make it worth a second look and the $14.50 price is an added bonus. I doubt you will hang onto this sweater for the long haul, but I imagine you can get some mileage out of it through the spring.
