Single Shoulder Minidress

I seem to have a nose for deals tonight. Check out this single-shoulder blue dress at Forever 21. The color is really beautiful and it is the kind of hue that blue-eyed lovelies should scoop up by the dozens. Outside of the asymmetrical neckline, the bubble hem is fun and its only $24.80 (why the eighty cents I wonder?).

Velvet Harmonia Dress

This Harmonia dress is stylish basic in an appealing jade color. Velvet's pieces always seem to fit well. And in my opinion whatever detail the piece incorporates may seem minimal on the rack, but when you put the item on, that detail has the most impactful affect on the fit and shape. I am certain that the draping in the front falls into this category. Grab it at Basic for $152.

Tessa Top

Up until this year, I never had any sort of bright pink in my closet. However, I have recently added a few items and I really like them. I am not sure why I ever shied away from the hue before. Its a good color for me and its almost impossible to wear it and be blue (yellow has the similar effect on me). The poppin' pink is what drew me to this floaty number at Forever 21. Outside of coming in a great summer color, I really like the tie accent and the layers of the Tessa Top. And as with most items at 21, it's totally budget-friendly at $17.80.

Colorful Crochet Dress

Bright colors are everywhere this summer. And if the yellows that have been everywhere aren't your thing, perhaps this tantalizing turquoise is what you needed to see before you jumped on the bright boat. Check out this adorable dress at Banana Republic. Offered in black and "mosaic", its the perfect cotton casual dress you need for the summer. I feel like this color works on just about everyone, although it can look absolutely stunning on gals who have baby blues.

Milly Eyelet Dress

Have you bought you yellow for the summer yet? If you haven't, may I suggest giving this eyelet embroidered dress by Milly a look? That is if you can afford to drop $370 on a dress. I really can't right now, but this dress is absolutely fantastic. The deep V-back is sensational and I love the scalloped edges.

Necessary Objects Printed Skirt

Lately, I have only been buying skirts and dresses, so I guess that's what I will spend my summer in, which is a cool alterntive to shorts. And although I have bought a few full skirts this season, I think I might have to add this one too. The combination of tangerine and gray is why I am loving this full skirt. The button pocket and ribbon trim details make this skirt look more expensive than $48.

BR Silk Woven Dress

I am seriously considering getting this dress as an early birthday present for myself. Although I was hoping to hit the outlets near my home to do a little bday shopping. But this dress is proving hard to resist. I love the color, the woven detail, and the cinched waist. If the vermillion color is too much for you, they carry it in black too.

Leopard Bubble Dress

I feel like Forever 21 is hit or miss. This bubble dress is a definite hit in my book. I love, LOVE the subtle satin leopard print and the red is HOT. Its pretty short and probably won't be the type of piece that can handle a ton of wear, but for $24.80 I think its a total steal.

Juicy Couture Smocked Dress

How do you feel about asymmetrical styles? If you like your shoulders, typically a flattering body part to showcase, it might be worth considering. This Juicy Couture jersey dress is adorably chic with its ruffles and smocked waist. I really like the cherry-pie color (wow I just had a 90s hairband flashback!). I'd recommend being truly in love with this look, since the dress is $228, not exactly lunch money.

Nicole Miller Strapless Bubble Dress

How lovely is this Nicole Miller dress? The color is great and the style is flattering. Its on sale right now for $174.

Lipsy Silk Colour Block Dress

If you haven't gotten terribly excited about the whole color blocking trend, perhaps this dress at Asos will win you over. Outside of loving the silhouette of this dress, I am a big fan of yellow and gray together. I really like the dark gray repeated along the bottom too. I know its a wee bit low cut, but you can always add a jacket or sweater for extra coverage.

Martin Lily-Pad Short

I am back! Yes, I bailed again for the weekend, but with good reason. And upon my return I learn that Banana Republic is having a summer savings sale and offering free shipping when you spend $125 (code is summerfree)to boot! I am pretty picky about shorts, but these lily-pad shorts caught my eye. They come in green and blue and are currently on sale for $34.30

Tibi Yellow Eyelet Skirt

Are you over all of the yellow yet? Me neither! This skirt is fantastic! And seriously who can put on a yellow skirt like this Tibi eyelet skirt at Bluefly and not smile? It might be too feminine for some folks, but I think it is so pretty and is the perfect pick me up for spring days, especially the rainy ones.

Nadia Silk Shantung Skirt

This is totally a "in my fantasy world where money is no object" post. The color of this Ralph Lauren Black Label skirt is breathtaking. Sure if I could realistically afford to spend $755 on this gorgeous silk skirt, folks might need a pair of sunglasses to look at me head on, but I L-O-V-E IT! And the drop waist and flared hem are just a bonus.

Little Miss Sunshine

This Stewart + Brown jersey dress at Doe is a chic, comfy, and 100% organic option for parties this summer. The ruched bodice and empire waist will flatter most figures and, though you might not notice them immediately, there are hidden pockets near the hip area. Truly an delightfully fun frock for $126.

Kate Dress

Have you been looking for a brightly colored dress for spring, but don't want to break the bank? J. Crew's Kate Dress, which comes in cabana blue and bright flame, is on sale for $59.99. It would be super cute with some flat sandals for most any activity your weekends throw your way.

Coral Pleated Sleeve Corsage Dress

I am not normally one for lots of embellishments and such on my clothes, but this dress really took me by surprise. I would initially think that the ruffles and corsage detail would be too much on one piece, but I think its remarkably pretty. I love the color and the chiffon layers. And who couldn't feel pretty wearing it?

Patent Leather Color

If you are on a strict budget and are looking for colorful spring accessories, these patent leather peep toes might be an option for you. They come in fuschia and mustard and are an amazing $13.99. Even if you aren't mindful of your spending, if you are unsure of how often you would need brightly hued shoes, these might intrigued you.
