Nanette Lepore Picasso Dress

I absolutely love this dress! In spite of the horizontal stripes, I really think that this dress has several super flattering attributes, including the empire waist, ruched bodice, as well as the length. For me where a dress hits me on my leg can make or break my look. And just above the knee is a favorable spot for me. Unfortunately, you can purchase it now, but it won't be shipped until mid-April. I can definitely wait!!!

Renae Dress

This dress is so fun and preppy and I almost missed it. Guess prominently features the red, white, and blue one on their site. Thank goodness that I checked it out, because as chic as the American version is, I prefer the navy and green one and its less than $100.

Sheet Ruffle Strap Dress

I guess I have dresses on the brain this afternoon, but here's another great and affordable dress that you can have some fun with. The Sheet Ruffle Strap Dress comes in four prints, the yellow stripe being my favorite (pictured), but the yellow floral, blue floral, and blue stripe are equally as cute. I like it belted, since I need some structure so as not to look like a giant in a sack. The criss-cross ruffled back is unexpected and adds some fun to the rear-view, so hit up Urban Outfitters to check out that twist. And its only $58, what a steal!

Ruffle Shirt Dress

Ralph Lauren also has some of their spring stuff on sale. I really like this striped shirt dress with a ruffle and for me its perfect for work, but I can also see it working for bridal showers (since the wedding season is right around the corner).

Pinstripe Pants

Ignoring the matching vest that is pictured with them, these tailored Lauren by Ralph Lauren pants at Nordstrom are fantastic. I like the cut and the wide leg helps balance out a fuller bottom (aka "pear shaped").
