Savvy Sale Pieces

Sadly I awoke way too early this morning and decided to use my early morning to scan sites for some online sales. The trick to buying sale items at this time of year is finding pieces that will can work for the early fall or that will work when spring comes back around. Here are a few items that can function for fall and end-of-summer prices.

True Religion Candice Wide Legs

Here's a great deal on True Religion jeans at Bloomingdales. The Candice Stretch Wide Leg Jeans are marked down from $240 to $168. I am a HUGE fan of their jeans. The pockets are the perfect size for making me feel a smidge better about my rear view. The inseam is also the perfect length for flats (for me) or heels depending on the length of your legs. This is especially a great deal if you haven't snagged a pair of wide leg jeans for the summer yet. And if that wasn't enough great news, they have sizes 24-32 still available.

Extra Light Trouser Jeans

If you are looking to get on the light jean bus, these trouser jeans from the Gap might suit you. They are extra light and have some stretch to them. Pick them up for $59.50.

Rich & Skinny Sleek Straight Leg Jeans

Here's another summer standard, white jeans (although I will argue that you can wear them outside the summer, but I have some friends' whose opinions I greatly respect who will disagree). They look fantastic on this model, but hopefully they also work for gals who aren't leggy and slender, although the inseam is only 33.5, which is a little shy of what I typically look for in my jeans. Get your Rich & Skinny on for $156.

Wide-Legged Denim Pants

Are you looking for an affordable and flattering pair of wide-legged pants for your spring wardrobe? Look no further than these denim button-tab pants at the Gap. The are not only on sale for $49.50, but they come in regular, petite, and tall lengths.

BDG Denim Jacket

I pulled out my old jean jacket recently and there was something just not right about the fit anymore. It wasn't tailored enough and was a little too roomy through the torso. However, this jacket at Urban Outfitters is perfectly tailored and reasonably priced at $68. The color is perfect too, not too dark and not too light (jeesh, I sound like goldilocks).

Denim Palazzo Pants

I have a pair of white palazzo pants that I live in during the summer. They are super comfy and work well with tons of things. So I am totally not surprised that I am coveting this denim version at Banana Republic and I am thinking that their SAVEMORE code they are still offering sweetens the pot. They offer them in both petite and tall sizes, which is a plus.

Bell Jeans

As much as I like bootcut and skinny jeans, I am digging these bell jeans with a flared leg style and button flat back pockets. They aren't expensive as far as jeans go ($59.50) and the Gap offers additional styles for petites and talls, so you should be able to find the "right" length. Although, if you prefer a higher waist, these are probably not for you.

Denim Cap Sleeve Jacket

I am a big fan of Omiru Style for All, which I highly recommend checking out, and in getting the skinny on the Ready Made Outfit Post (check it out, especially the jacket), I found myself perusing Top Shop. And as luck would have it, I stumbled upon this cap-sleeved jacket. Its definitely not your run-of-the-mill jean jacket. And its less than $100.

Chip & Pepper Olivia Boot Cut Jeans

Boot cut jeans with a 34 inch inseam, what more could a girl ask for? How about half-priced Chip & Pepper boot cut jeans with a 34 inch inseam? Hard for me to pass up, but decide for yourself.
